I’m always on the hunt for new creatives both locally in Atlanta and beyond. So when Jawana Little from Oniee’s Engagements contacted me about her upcoming styled shoot with North Carolina based vendors I was stocked! The thing is though, the couple in the shoot had such great chemistry, you would have though they were really an item! Read on about what inspired the shoot from Jawana below.
From the designer:
“This was a southern vintage inspired photo shoot. It was mainly outdoors to add a little bit of a rustic appeal. Several amazing vendors came together to create the vision I imagined. We want it to be inspiring for women of color so the stylist choose a hairstyle for the model that could be created with natural hair. There were a few DIY items like the “cards” banner on the vintage suitcase. The sequined linens also added a bit of southern glam!”
Many thanks to Jawana for working with me to get this on CBB and special thanks to the team below who all worked to make the whole shoot happen!
