The Empire State is truly a picturesque city! Parks, cafes, buildings…all of that make it a perfect backdrop for your engagement session. Today, we have Makeka & Raoul who may look familiar to you from this session. However, the second session was warranted from photographer, Fabio Fistarol as part of the ‘Empire State of Love’ Photography project. And who doesn’t love taking pictures after being engaged? Get inspired by love and the city of New York below!
From the Photographer:
Makeda and Raoul are a New York couple. “I am a first generation American and my family is from the islands of Trinidad and Tobago. My Fiancé is from South America from the country of Guyana.”, says Makeda. They were neighbors in Queens and she had just moved back home when Raoul’s mother passed away. They met each other in a sad moment, but the love, friendship and support between their families just make them became closer. It wasn’t easy for Raoul to have her attention, as Makeda told me, but he was persistent. Way to go Raoul! After a few months they met again and since then, became an inseparable couple. This summer they’ve decided to celebrate their love with family and friends at their wedding. It’s definitely just the beginning for this amazing couple, they will conquer everything that they desire together, for sure.We started the love session in one of the most important places in NY, the Rockefeller Center building. Top of the Rock offers for visitor an incredible view from the city and a billion different ways to shoot. We had a fun time, with love, kisses and dance. It’s was inspiring shoot them. Their love was all around the building and I was getting very excited to click everything.
Thanks Makeda and Raoul, may your life be filled with much more love and joy! 😉
